Special royal green gravy Chicken preparation

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Chicken pieces
  • 2 medium Onions
  • 1 cup fresh Mint Leaves
  • 1/2 cup fresh Coriander Leaves
  • 1/2 cup boiled Spinach paste
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 2-3 piece green Chillies
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 2 piece Black Cardamoms
  • 4 piece Green Cardamoms
  • 4 piece Black Pepper
  • 4 piece Black Pepper
  • 4 piece Cloves
  • 1 inch Cinnamon stick
  • 1 inch Mace
  • 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds (Saunf)
  • 1 tablespoon Water Melon seeds
  • 2 tablespoon fresh Cream
  • 1 cup Oil/Ghee
  • Salt to taste

Method

(Step 1) Wash the Chicken pieces. Add yoghurt & keep aside to marinate for 30 minutes. (Step 2) Make a smooth paste of Onions, mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger-garlic, watermelon seeds, fennel seeds & all Garam Masala (spices) adding one table spoon of water. (Step 3) Heat Oil/Ghee in a pan & fry marinated chicken pieces . Add paste and Bhuno it till oils is separated. Add Cream and keep bhuno it. Later add salt & 1½ cup water to make thick gravy. Close the lid and leave on medium heat for cooking till tender.
